At the beginning of 2022 we contacted Additive Center to find out if they could help us in a project called “3D printing of components”. Main reason was to support us in improving our competence in making optimal use of the available 3D printing technologies and taking the right decision between the conventional technologies like injection moulding and 3D printing. Additive center developed a tailormade workshop for our product engineers in which we used the different kind of 3D printing technologies to print our components , each component with very different kind of requirements. This workshop enabled us to make the right choices based on cost price calculations related to the specifications of the component and the required technology.

The cooperation with Additive Center was very open, from the beginning onwards. They

really shared their knowledge and experience with us on many different aspects of 3D printing are well committed in the way they supported us. The workshop was hands-on and pragmatic , a good balance between theory and in applying the knowledge in practice but also along the phases of product development towards manufacturing. We experienced as well the added value of 3D printing but also the limitations of 3D printing. What we appreciated was also that we could ask for their support at any moment of the project but also afterwards this was never an issue.

I certainly would recommend the cooperation with Additive Center. They know the state of the art of 3D printing have a clear vision of the development of 3D printing, are always open

for discussion, pragmatic, a good responsiveness and punctuality. We discussed also in a broader aspect the way of developing competences and business topics related to 3D printing. After our meetings I always had the feeling that we had a win-win discussion in which we learned from each other.

As a rating I would give a 9, there will always be something to improve but I couldn’t mention

at this very moment.

Additive Center assisted us by actively listening to our concerns and subsequently engaging in the right collaborations to work on solutions. Their contribution involved not only bringing in the necessary positivity and perseverance but also leveraging the appropriate expertise.

The collaboration experience was characterized by openness, sincerity, and a solution-oriented approach, utilizing the right level of expertise and always striving for a win/win/win situation.
